As the investigators found out, the employees of the enterprise organized an illegal scheme during the work on strengthening the river bank for the needs of the Dniester hydroelectric power station. When checking the fulfillment of the terms of the contract, a shortage of crushed stone and other building materials, which should be used in the work to improve the reliability and safety of hydraulic structures, was identified. The total amount of the missing property exceeded UAH 32 million.
