A soldier who served as a cook in the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Cossacks was killed near the village of Kamenka in the Donetsk region.

Deputy Military Commissar of the Poltava region Eduard Borodai said that "the official cause of death is careless handling of weapons".

Parents were informed of their son's death only a day later.
